It should be noted that CSR groups together a set of mandatory practices, but its importance is not only based on compliance with regulations but also on going one step further by implementing voluntary models in companies.
Some of the reasons why it is important for companies to engage in CSR include:
- Improve corporate image: adopting voluntary CSR criteria leads to an improvement in the reputation of companies, enabling them to obtain better relations in many areas.
- Reducing costs: implementing a policy based on ethics and sustainability means reducing costs in some production processes.
- Attracting customers: over the years, our society has also become increasingly aware of the importance of protecting not only the environment but also the quality of human relations. As a result, many consumers have become increasingly selective in their purchasing decisions.
The commitment to renewable energies as CSR criteria is defined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a target date of 2023: the socalled 2030 Agenda.
Thanks to government commitment, access to renewable energy is becoming more affordable and more and more business organizations are joining the list of members committed to sustainable energy.
In our company, the commitment to sustainability is based on sustainable development, and we have been working for more than 20 years with the certainty of improving the quality of the planet day after day. In addition, we incorporate into our business development process the objective of offering our customers, suppliers and the planet not only an investment that is profitable in the long term, but also environmentally and socially responsible.
