Yesterday, 1st March, the III Technology Job Fair took place at the UCLM campus in Albacete. A total of 30 technology-based companies in Albacete participated, including Univergy Solar.

The purpose of this event was to bring future engineers closer to companies and for this purpose, we had our own stand, where students came to talk to us. Undoubtedly, the development of this activity generates a great number of opportunities for students who want to carry out their external internships and then find their first job.

The vice-rector for Innovation, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Ángela González; the director of the ESII, José Miguel Puerta; the director of the ETSII, José Antonio Almendros; and the president of the Provincial Association of Information Technology Companies (APETI), Francisco José Ríos, took part in the fair.

Currently, the demand for engineers is very high and one of the problems companies face is the lack of engineers. Gradually, according to the director of the ETSII, enrolments at the School are increasing year after year, with the number of enrolments for the engineering sector on the rise.

At Univergy Solar we are very happy to have been able to participate for the first time in the Technology Job Fair, presenting our company and its opportunities. We hope to repeat next year to help students find their job opportunities.
